Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve been in an accident and need to get my vehicle towed. Can I have it towed to Dreamworks?

Absolutely! We work with all the towing companies in the area.

How will the tow bill get paid?

If you have full coverage insurance or are a claimant on another person’s insurance the tow bill will be directly billed to that insurance company. If the tow company isn’t settling the bill with your insurance company, they can direct bill Dreamworks and we will add it to the final bill. If you are not going through insurance the tow company can direct bill Dreamworks and we will add the tow bill to your final bill.

How do I get a rental car?

Most of the time if you have rental coverage on your insurance policy or if you are the claimant on another person’s insurance that insurance company will reach out to you with rental car arrangements. If you need assistance, please stop by or call us and we can help guide you through the process at Dreamworks Collision Center.

Do you offer free estimates for collision repairs?

Yes, we do offer free estimates for collision repairs. Just know that there is a difference between a repair plan and an estimate. An estimate is based on the damage that we can visually identify and photograph. If the damage is extensive this can greatly vary from what it will cost to repair the vehicle. You can stop by anytime during our normal business hours, Monday thru Thursday 6:30am - 6:30pm.

Do I need to obtain more than one estimate?

No, you get to decide how many estimates you would like if you want to compare body shops. Ultimately, the body shop of your choosing will work with the insurance company directly. We are always happy to discuss our estimates and repair plans with our customers.

What do I do next if I already have an estimate from my insurance company?

Just give us a call or stop by Dreamworks Collision Center with your estimate and vehicle and we can get you scheduled for repairs! We will want to go over your estimate and begin a repair plan with you.

Will you use OEM pairs on my vehicle?

At Dreamworks Collision Center we prefer to use OEM parts on your vehicle. OEM parts are manufactured and tested to perform up to the OEM specifications. We will work with your insurance company to do our best to make this happen. If your policy states that your insurance company will only pay for aftermarket, remanufactured or recycled parts you always have the choice to pay the difference for OEM parts. We always do our best to make using OEM parts affordable and the best option.

Do I have a choice about what auto body shop repairs my vehicle?

Absolutely, the choice is always yours when it comes to who repairs your vehicle. Often insurance companies will “recommend” auto body shops in their network. This just means that they have a contract with that auto body shop to do the work at a discounted rate in a set amount of time. This does not mean that the repairs will be superior or that the facility is superior to another. Dreamworks Collision Center has always been an independent auto body shop. We are independent from all insurance companies because at the end of the day we work for our customers, but with the insurance company.

Now that I have decided what auto body shop I want to use, received an approved estimate, and have my rental car set up how long will the repair process take?

This can vary greatly depending on the extent of damage to your vehicle and parts acquisition. We will have all of the parts on the original repair plan ordered and received before your vehicle arrives to try and help limit the amount of time your vehicle is at our facility. We will keep you and your insurance company informed of any delays. It is our goal to provide superior repairs in a timely manner.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes! We offer a limited lifetime warranty on all repairs done by Dreamworks Collision Center for as long as you own the vehicle. Often this is where an insurance company will tell you that if you take your car to any shop that isn’t in their preferred network the repairs won’t be warrantied. This is not true at Dreamworks.
